Black Lines of Code is a mixed-media exhibition that is setting the standard for how Blackness is perceived, consumed and celebrated in virtual worlds and spaces.

What is
>Black Lines of Code?

Black Lines of Code is a groundbreaking mixed-media exhibition curated by Danielle Udogaranya (Founder of EBONIX), celebrating ten years of redefining representation in gaming and digital culture.

Taking place at Copeland Gallery, Peckham (11 – 20 December 2025), the exhibition blurs the boundaries between art, technology, and identity, inviting audiences to experience how Black creatives are rewriting the visual language of virtual worlds.

Rooted in the question of what happens when the mediums we consume fail to equip us with the means to author our own image, Black Lines of Code foregrounds the work of artists and technologists who have resisted convention and embedded Blackness directly into the architecture of digital space.

From immersive installations to tactile, physical works, the show explores the intersection of cultural heritage, algorithmic bias, and the power of self-representation through digital design.
